Frank Vo, President/CEO – 20+ years in Healthcare
Mr. Vo is the cofounder, CEO, and one of the Astiva Health board members. He has extensive experience in managed care and information technology operations. Prior to founding Astiva he served successfully as a CFO and COO for several Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) health plans with Special Needs Programs (SNP), including the two plans which he helped start from scratch: Citizen’s Choice Health Plan (sold to Alignment Health Plan) and Easy Choice Health Plan (sold to WellCare).
Michael R. Postlethwaite, COO – 39+ years in Healthcare
Mr. Postlethwaite brings over 39 years of comprehensive and diversified operations and growth experience within the Healthcare industry. His career includes senior executive level roles in Insurance, Managed Health Care Organizations, Health Care Delivery Systems, Healthcare Payor Technology, Field Marketing Organizations, and Business Professional Services. To name a few: Health Axis, HolaDoctor, American Care, FSAI, ACS/Xerox, Milo Consulting Group, Physician Heathcare Plans, and Humana. He has been both an investor and senior executive in a successful Health Maintenance Organization, in Florida, from startup to acquisition by a Fortune 100 company. He earned a bachelor of Art Business Administration and Management from Kent State University. He is a licensed agent and AHIP & CMS-LN certified.
John Ernsberger M.D., Interim Chief Medical Officer – 30+ years in Healthcare
Dr. Ernsberger has over 30 years of experience in healthcare management. As a Physician executive, he has been involved both nationally and internationally in the development and management of integrated healthcare delivery systems. Dr. Ernsberger has worked very closely with all of the major health plans as well as Physician groups to ensure excellent quality in the delivery of services to each and every patient member requiring service.
Ann Pham, VP Provider Network Management – 24 years in Healthcare
A Bilingual Vietnamese/English Business Development/Contracting and Provider Network Management Executive with a Masters of Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with more than 24 years of progressive experience in the healthcare industry. Experienced in all aspects of contract negotiation and payment methodologies for all lines of business (Cal-MediConnect, Medicare, Commercial, Medi-Cal) and contract types throughout California (Plan-to-Plan/Global Risk, Dual/Full Risk, Shared Risk, Capitated and Fee-For-Service). Experienced with Service Area Expansions, contract language review, cost analysis, and professional relationships with Medical Groups/IPAs, capitated/fee for service hospitals, Transplant Centers of Excellence, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Ancillary Providers, and physicians.
Drew Albert, AVP Strategist/PM – 20+ years in Healthcare
Drew has held various high-level management positions for some of the top health insurance companies in the country (including Maxicare Health Plans, Blue Shield of California, and United Healthcare) and was a Principal Consultant for TriNet’s rapidly growing employee benefits division. United Healthcare hired Drew to help solidify its entry into the California Market. Drew was part of the Executive Leadership Board which oversaw the Provider Network Contracting and Strategic Planning. This led him to join TriNet’s startup division that led them to become a publicly-traded company.
Tariq Brown, Director of Compliance – 10+ years in Healthcare
Tariq has held managerial compliance positions with some of the top-performing Medicare health plans in California. Among these health plans are Alignment Healthcare, Santa Clara Family Health Plan, and Golden State Medicare Health Plan. Throughout his work with these health plans, Tariq has been an integral part of creating, building, and maintaining compliance programs. His focus on problem-solving, risk analysis and audit preparedness has proven to be successful.
Dorothy Chan, VP Sales/Marketing – 20+ years in Healthcare
As VP of Marketing and Sales for Astiva Health, Inc. Dorothy will work closely with the Broker Community, Medical Groups, and all Ancillary partners to market and grow membership. Dorothy has twenty years in the healthcare industry with experience working for Health Plans, IPAs, and the Broker Community.
Dorothy is currently working on her Masters of Business Administration, concentrating in Healthcare Management at California State University, Los Angeles and she has earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing Management at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
